Engaged by Western Sydney AMU, MostynCopper managed the design and delivery phases for a new library and the refurbishment of an existing administration building at Lapstone Public School in the lower Blue Mountains. The library was purpose designed and  built to cater for new and future advancements in technology and learning environments.

The design was guided by SINSW’s Cooler Classrooms Policy, which focuses on thermal comfort and indoor air quality, and Blue Mountains Council and FRNSW bushfire management requirements. Construction was undertaken in a live environment with regular school consultation and disruption notice process. The Contractor was engaged under a Design & Construct Agreement with administration of the GC21 contract by MostynCopper.
