MostynCopper was engaged as Project Managers and Superintendent for the design and delivery of year-round cricket training and administration facilities to support elite player development and pathway programmes within Cricket NSW and provide sporting and community facilities for the local community. The site sits within the Sydney Olympic Park precinct and required significant stakeholder management and negotiation to achieve the desired outcome. The scope of work included Environmental site remediation, development of ICC compliant playing field with 15 centre wickets, Junior field and 43 outdoor training wickets and associated floodlighting and parking, medical facility for athlete recovery, gymnasium and squad facilities for high performance athletes, aquatic recovery pools, 30–40-person capacity theatrette, 120-person capacity auditorium, Community facilities, Administration/Office spaces, Terraced spectator seating, separate café and Library building and separate Maintenance Building and equipment storage.
