MostynCopper was engaged to manage detailed design finalisation, construction and commissioning of the extensive redevelopment of Tumut Hospital in regional NSW. The facility was constructed within a live operational environment and comprised a complex, multi-staged delivery approach with the new hospital construction completed in October 2021 and demolition of the existing hospital completed in early 2022. The project delivered a 24-bed in-patient Ward, Birthing Unit, Emergency Department, Pre-operative Suite, Rehabilitation Unit, Renal Department, Medical Imaging including CT, Front of house and main reception, Activity based workspaces, Ancillary support areas and a helipad.
