The iconic Jacksons on George site is within the wider Sydney Place development at the Circular Quay end of George Street in Sydney’s CBD. The new facility spreads over three levels and includes a ground floor public bar, fine dining restaurant and a roof top terrace. As with the major redevelopment of any hospitality venue in Sydney’s CBD, the rigorous planning process was characterised by high levels of stakeholder engagement and management including the City of Sydney, NSW Police, the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner, Night-time Industries Association, FRNSW and the wider community. The new Jacksons on George opened to the public in October 2023.

A component of the wider ‘Sydney Place’ development, Jackson’s on George is a three-storey hospitality venue incorporating a Public Bar, Restaurant and Rooftop terrace that was subjected to a rigorous planning approval process including engagement with various key stakeholders including the City of Sydney, NSW Police, 24-hour Economy Commissioner, Night-time Industries Association, FRNSW and the wider community.
