Representing the interests of UNSW and working with Lendlease as the ECI Contractor, this project involved a new building to house UNSW business administration, student led spaces and new teaching facilities. The building designed to be 15,000m2 and constructed in a single stage utilising an innovative, sustainable technology (Cross Laminated Timber – CLT) due to it is environmentally sustainable building practices and is fast track construction time. MostynCopper provided Project Management services for Stages 4 through 6 for the ECI Phase of UNSW Development Guidelines being Brief Definition, Design & Authorities, Documentation & Procurement including the fit out of new accommodation to facilitate the decant of the existing D14 residents prior to demolition. MostynCopper also coordinated the internal UNSW stakeholder / UNSW user groups. The Project Management services will transition into the construction phase and operational readiness via a D&C contract methodology.
